Our driver offered to add a stop at the Bethany Baptismal site - only a short detour - and said it would cost an extra JD35 and take 1.5 hours. We didn’t realise the tour itself wasn’t included in this price and it cost JD12 per person more at the visitor’s centre, so for two of us it was JD59 in total. The Baptismal tour was also slower than expected and took over 2 hours. I definitely recommend the Dead Sea experience.”
